Re-elect Stephen Bannon to Berkshire Hills School Committee

Stephanie Adler of Stockbridge urges the re-election of Stephen Bannon to the Berkshire Hills Regional School Committee.

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of the reelection of Stephen Bannon to the Berkshire Hills Regional School District School Committee.

As a very involved parent in the district over the past 16 years, I feel that Mr. Bannon is eminently qualified to continue in his position. His experience is both broad and deep, having been a School Committee member since 1997, and serving as chairperson since 1999. His BHRSD experience ranges from many years with the budget process, to multiple contract negotiations, to district policy, to Superintendent searches and more.

He has also been selected for the Massachusetts Association of School Committees Lifetime Achievement Award. Steve is a committed community member, serving his town in many other capacities, including as Selectman.

While all of this makes him uniquely qualified to serve the school district, it would mean little if not for his steadfast and unwavering dedication to our students and the continued quality of their education. No one has given more of their time, efforts and talents than Steve Bannon and I strongly encourage the voters of Stockbridge, West Stockbridge and Great Barrington to again return him to the Berkshire Hills Regional School District School Committee.

A reflection on No Kings Day

I don't know what kind of drugs the Trump administration and Fox News thinks Americans are on, but their response to No Kings Day defies belief—even by MAGA standards.
