Ralph R. ‘Corky’ Herrick, 82, of Lee

Corky was a professional driver for most of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and in his younger years enjoyed racing stock cars.

Ralph R. “Corky” Herrick, 82, of Maple Street, Lee, formerly of Lenox, died Tuesday night at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Corky was born March 13, 1935, the son of Ralph E. and Glenna Nicholas Herrick. His mother died two weeks after his birth, and subsequently he was raised and educated in Lenox by his father and step-mother Janet Smith Herrick.

Corky was a professional driver for most of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and in his younger years enjoyed racing stock cars. Corky was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the 4H Club where he exhibited his love of cows. He was known for having a great sense of humor and love for his family and his Belgian sheep dog, Molly.

Corky is survived by his five children, all of whom were raised in Richmond: Lori Uhrig and her husband Raymond, Timothy E. Herrick, Debra Gillette, Heidi Scarinzi and her husband Paul, and J. Mitchell Herrick and his wife Michelle. Corky also leaves behind his grandchildren: Evan, Matthew, Justin, Megan, Ryann, Sarah, Kileen, Shawna, Josh and Andrea, as well as his great-grandchildren: Austin, Kaylee, Noah, Connor, Easton, Kesler and Ryker. Additionally he leaves behind his brother David and his wife Judy; his three step-children: Deedee, Daniel, Deborah and their families; his first wife Debra Bessette and his daughter-in-law Jenny Herrick.

Corky was predeceased by his second wife, Jeanne Brazeau Herrick.

Following Corky’s wishes, a private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.

Roberta A. ‘Bobbie’ Nussbaum, 90, of Egremont

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Francis Thomas Duke Jr., 82, of Lenox

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.
