Ralph H. Mills III of Sheffield passed away June 2, 2018, at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut.

Born Nov. 14, 1957, in Torrington, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Ralph and Phyllis LaQuire Mills. He was educated in Burlington schools and graduated from high school. Ralph worked for many years as a sales clerk for Hocon Industrial Gas, a welding supply company in Torrington.
“Ted,” as he was lovingly known, was an avid golfer and enjoyed cooking. He adored his large extended family, especially Tracy and Charlotte and his girlfriend, Beth.
Ralph is survived by his sister Nancy Stevenson of Cheshire, Connecticut; his brother Gerald Mills of Winsted, Connecticut; his nephews Aaron and Eaven Stevenson and Gerald Mills Jr.; his great-nephew Noah Mincey; and many cousins. He also leaves his girlfriend, Beth Anstett, and her parents, Frank and Eileen Clarke, of Sheffield.
The services for the late Ralph Mills will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington, with calling hours from 10 a.m. to noon and a memorial service immediately following calling hours at noon conducted by Rev. Rich Hayes. Burial will follow at the Sheffield Center Cemetery in Sheffield.
