Questions remain about 100 Bridge St. plans

In her letter to the editor, Joyce Scheffey writes: "Are plans to build a 4-story affordable housing unit, snugly situated next to the sewage treatment plant, actually about to sail through our town boards?"

To the Editor:

Although I know the Zoning Board of Appeals (which meets on July 26 at 7 p.m.) has the final word, both the Planning Board (which meets July 14 at 7 p.m.) and the Select Board (NEXT Monday, July 11, 7 p.m.) have only advisory duties … so, as, you gotta start somewhere, and time is of the essence … I, for one, am planning to attend the Select Board next Monday to see just where those fellas are on this.

Hope others will come, too.
