Priscilla Adams Moulthrop, 93, of Great Barrington

Priscilla was a dietician at Fairview Hospital, as well as a tireless volunteer there for more than 20 years.

Priscilla Adams Moulthrop, 93, passed away January 27, 2022, with her loving family by her side.

Priscilla was born in Great Barrington on February 25, 1928, the daughter of Ray S. Adams and Carolyn Meigs Adams. She attended local schools and graduated from Northfield School for Girls in 1946.

In 1943, she met the love of her life, Don Moulthrop. They were married on June 24, 1950.

Priscilla attended Dean Junior College in Franklin, Massachusetts, and graduated in 1948 with a degree in dietetics. She was Assistant Dietician at Somerville (MA) Hospital, and later served as Dietician at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington.

Priscilla was a tireless volunteer at Fairview Hospital for over 20 years. She also served as a Hospice volunteer, and was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) First Resistance Chapter, Thursday Morning Club, and Monument Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She also served as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader.

Priscilla is survived by her sons David and Paul Moulthrop; her daughters Diane Arnold (Steve), Audrey Leveille (Gary), and Karen Carson (Mark). She is also survived by her grandchildren Ryan and Devan Arnold, Justin and Katelyn Leveille, and Matthew and Kyle Carson, as well as her great-grandchild Jhonen Arnold.

Priscilla was predeceased by her husband Donald and her sister Carol Adams Deschamps.

Services: Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tara Tetzlaff on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230. Calling hours will be from 10–11 a.m. Burial will follow at Peltonbrook Cemetery in Great Barrington.
