little, tiny hands balled into fists -- a pair of pygmy pugilists!

Two big babies howling in their facing cribs,

little, tiny hands balled into fists

— a pair of pygmy pugilists! —

 

the whole ward waiting for nurse

to change the scrappy babies’

soiled nappies.
