Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund endorses Leigh Davis for state representative

“As state representative, Leigh will prioritize advancing reproductive health equity in Massachusetts, dismantling barriers to care, and ensuring safe, legal abortion is accessible to all," said PPAF President Dominique Lee.

Great Barrington — Leigh Davis announced today that she has earned the endorsement of the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund for her candidacy for state representative of the 3rd Berkshire District.

“Right now, patients here and around the country are counting on Massachusetts to make abortion, contraception, and LGBTQ+ healthcare as accessible as possible, especially in the face of a possible federal administration determined to eliminate access to this care. That’s why we must elect lawmakers who are bold, effective, unapologetic champions for reproductive freedom in every district,” said PPAF President Dominique Lee. “As state representative, Leigh will prioritize advancing reproductive health equity in Massachusetts, dismantling barriers to care, and ensuring safe, legal abortion is accessible to all. The stakes have never been higher, and the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund is proud to endorse and fight alongside Leigh Davis.”

“I am thrilled and honored that the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund has endorsed me as its champion in the 3rd Berkshire District,” said Davis. “As a woman, a mother, and an advocate for safe, affordable, and accessible healthcare for all, I am committed to ensuring everyone—no matter who they are or where they live—has the education, support, and care they need to stay healthy.”

This announcement follows Davis’s endorsements by the Massachusetts AFL-CIO, Massachusetts Nurses Association, Progressive Mass, and 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East.

Leigh Davis is the vice chair of the Great Barrington Selectboard, communications director at Construct, a 1Berkshire board director, and a member of the Lake Mansfield Improvement Task Force and the W.E.B. Du Bois Legacy Committee. To learn more about Leigh, visit her campaign’s website.
