Pittsfield resident killed in motor vehicle and pedestrian collision

According to Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office Chief of Operations Julia Sabourin wrote in an email that the collision remains under investigation and no further details have been provided. 

Pittsfield — Resident Luis Chin, 87, was killed in a motor vehicle and pedestrian collision on Friday, June 20.

According to Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office Chief of Operations Julia Sabourin, on June 20 Cheshire resident John Clark, 93, was driving his vehicle on Dalton Avenue near Benedict Road.

Clark’s vehicle collided with Chin while he was crossing the intersection.

Chin was transferred to Berkshire Medical Center and he died during the evening of June 20.

Sabourin wrote in an email that the collision remains under investigation and no further details have been provided.
