Pittsfield resident arrested on multiple charges, including assault and battery, threatened murder, and cocaine trafficking

Resident Teige Harden, 34, was arrested on September 27 by the city’s Police Department after a domestic incident.

Pittsfield —  According to the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office, resident Teige Harden, 34, was arrested on September 27 by the city’s Police Department after a domestic incident.

The Police Department apprehended Harden after he allegedly assaulted a household member.

As he was being arrested, officers discovered approximately 106 grams of Cocaine in his pants pocket.

Harden was arrested on multiple charges:

  • Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (handgun);
  • Possession of a Firearm in Felony;
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm;
  • Possession of a Firearm without Firearms Identification (FID) Card;
  • Possession of Ammunition Without a FID Card;
  • Threat to Commit a Crime (Murder);
  • Assault and Battery on a Family/Household Member, Subsequent Offense;
  • Trafficking in Cocaine More than 100 Grams Less Than 200 Grams.

Harden was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on September 30 where the judge in the case ordered Harden to be held without bail pending a hearing.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, Harden has an extensive in Virginia from 2008 to 2021.
