Philip Orenstein, chair of Great Barrington’s Finance Committee, running for Selectboard

Orenstein has served on the town's Finance Committee since May 2021.

Great Barrington — On Monday, Feb. 3, Finance Committee Chair Philip Orenstein announced that he requested nomination papers to run for a seat on the Selectboard.

Orenstein has served on the Finance Committee since May 2021, and has been a member of the Great Barrington Housing Authority board since June 2022.

He served on the board of the Community Development Corporation of South Berkshire from January to November 2023, and also served as its interim executive director from December 2023 to November 2024.

The Berkshire Edge has contacted Orenstein for an interview for a future article.
