Mr. Lasky owned and operated Berkshire Millwork Sales in Great Barrington. He started with Berkshire Millwork Sales in the late 1980’s and put his heart and soul into the company. Eventually he became the owner and excelled at his work. Although he would often tell you he was “behind in the office,” he enjoyed his job and his job enjoyed him. He was a man full of character and humor who always had a way of brightening up the room. Although his joking was dry, and at times relentless, he always had a way of breaking the ice or lifting everyone’s spirits. He was the family comedian. Paul enjoyed road trips and for many years visited Chicago with his children making jokes for different towns along the way, which would be told for many years. He had a way of doing that. He enjoyed routines and traditions that he, with great success, instilled in his children. He was an endless supply of laughs for his family and friends and will be missed dearly. He was one of a kind.

Paul is survived by his wife Pamela Lasky of Great Barrington; his four children, Rebecca Schulze, David Lasky, Sara Hadsell, and Angela Lasky; five grandchildren, Julia Zamboni, Ian Hadsell, Ameilya Hadsell, Isaiah Ives, and Brian Lasky. He also leaves his brother, Mark Lasky; his sister, Laura Anderson and his aunt Alice DeKany.
