Patricia Senter, 89, of Lee

Pat graduated from the former Berkshire Business College in 1948 and went to work for Durant-Forman Insurance in Lee for several years.

Patricia A. Senter, 89, of East Street, Lee, died Thursday, July 5, at her home with her loving family in her company.

Patricia was born July 10, 1928, in Worcester, the daughter of Francis and Marguerite O’Brien Derrick. She moved to Lenox Dale as a child and was educated in the Lenox schools, graduating from Lenox High School in 1946. Pat graduated from the former Berkshire Business College in 1948 and went to work for Durant-Forman Insurance in Lee for several years. Mrs. Senter was a secretary for North’s Automotive in Lee in the 1980s, retiring in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Pat treasured spending time with her family and always looked forward to the next visit.

Pat married Charles Senter July 29, 1950. Her husband died Dec. 13, 2016.

Mrs. Senter leaves behind her four daughters: Lynda S. Brazee and husband Austin, of Lenox Dale, Andrea S. Baker and husband Peter of Lee, Sharon I. Ewaskie and husband David, of Naugatuck, Connecticut, and Marguerite Senter Keefner and husband Mark of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren: Amanda, Nicholas, Laura, Brian, Jennifer, Roxanne, Nicole, Ashley, Katherine and Stephanie; and 11 great-grandchildren: Domenic, Alexandre, Luca, Josephine, Violet, Conner, Hayden, Ryan, Lauren, Dillon and Everett. In addition, she also leaves behind her sister-in-law Margaret Derrick and brother-in-law Richard Cook.

Funeral services for Patricia A. Senter will be held Tuesday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home with Rev. Brian McGrath, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. The Senter family would like to thank HospiceCare in the Berkshires for their compassionate care and kindness during their time spent with Pat. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either HospiceCare in the Berkshires or St. Mary’s School in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. To leave a message of condolence or share pictures with the family, visit www.kellyfuneralhome.net.

Mary Louise (Frink) Barnum, 85, of Great Barrington

The funeral service for Mary Lou Barnum will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 1 p.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

Ted (Edward) Frederick, 51, of Pittsfield

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m., at the Church on the Hill in Lenox, with Rev. Liz Goodman officiating. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Roche Funeral Home.
