Patricia “Patsy” Ann Carlotto, 79, of Housatonic died Friday, January 20, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Patricia was born on November 26, 1943 in Great Barrington, daughter of Benjamin Sr. and Stella (Bubrzycki) Koldys.
She was a graduate of the former Searles High School in the class of 1961. Patricia worked at Rising Paper Mill as payroll secretary and at her brother’s bakery for many years. Patricia was a member of the former All Saints Church and Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Corpus Christi Church. She enjoyed tag sales, feeding and watching the wildlife, and watching her son Peter race.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Peter Carlotto, whom she married in All Saints Church on May 22, 1971; her son, Peter Carlotto and wife Meaghan; her daughter, Lisa M. Carlotto; her sister, Maureen Brazie and husband Don; her niece, Tara Brazie; two nephews, Donald and Neil Brazie; her four great nieces; and one great nephew. Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin Koldys Jr.
A Graveside service for Patricia “Patsy” Ann Carlotto will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Housatonic. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home at 33 South Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation New England. Condolences may be made through the funeral home’s website.
