Patricia Hall, 81, of Blue Hill Road, Monterey, Massachusetts, died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Fairview Commons Nursing Center, Great Barrington, Mass. She was born in Great Barrington on February 13, 1934 daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn Gerard Butler. She attended local schools and was a 1951 graduate of the former Searles High School.
She was a cook at Brookside School, and she also farmed the Goodnow Estate with her late husband and was a private housekeeper. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, doing crafts, cooking and was a great animal advocate.
Patricia leaves five children: J. Anthony Barbieri and his wife Kathleen, Timothy Barbieri and his wife Debbi, Patrick James Hall and his wife Nancy, Tara Ann White and her husband Edgar, and Cathy Covell and her husband Michael; six grandchildren, Kristine Barbieri Emprimo, Brian and Kristin Barbieri, Patrick Joseph and Brandon Hall, and John Joseph Covell; a great granddaughter, Everly Emprimo; five step children, Diane Guarnieri, James N. Hall and his wife, Terry, Susan Planas, Edward Hall and Joseph Hall and his wife, Lisa; eight step grandchildren; one sister, Jean Tracy; and five nieces and nephews and her kitties, Daisy and Sherbert. Patricia was predeceased by her second husband James W. “Toad” Hall in 1982, her sister Mary Parsons in 1984, her granddaughter Tina Marie White in 2007 and her first husband James Barbieri in 2015.
A memorial mass for Patricia Hall who died October 24, will be held at St. Peter’s Church on Thursday, October 29, at 10 a. m., with the Reverend William P. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Housatonic. There are no calling hours.
