Patricia Alice Mantegari, 80, of Pittsfield

Calling hours will be held Saturday, May 3, prior to the funeral, from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., at Roche Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at St. Ann’s Church in Lenox. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery.

Patricia Alice Mantegari, 80, of Pittsfield, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born in Pittsfield on August 3, 1944, to the late Charles V. McGee and Dorothy Sternberg. She was a 1962 graduate of Lenox High School. After high school, she attended Berkshire Community College and Holyoke Community College, where she earned an early childhood certification. Upon receiving her certification, Patricia opened Miss Pat’s nursery school. She then went on to teach and became a director with KinderCare Learning Center. Patricia was married to the love of her life, Rudolph J. “Rudy” Mantegari, on May 13, 1967, at St. Ann’s Church. He predeceased her on November 2, 2018.

Patricia was an avid reader and enjoyed ceramics and baking. She loved dogs and cherished spending time with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Laurie Mantegari and her husband Mitchell Donahue of Hampton, N.H.; her son Robert Mantegari and his wife Sarah Mantegari of Brentwood, N.H.; her son Michael Mantegari and his wife Kirsten Mantegari of Londonderry, N.H.; and her six grandchildren, Quinn Mantegari, Brooke Mantegari, Tess Mantegari, Zachary Mantegari, Abigail Mantegari, and Amelia Donahue. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Taglieri of Clearwater, Fla., along with nieces, nephews, and their families.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, May 3, prior to the funeral, from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., at Roche Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at St. Ann’s Church in Lenox. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Patricia Mantegari to support cancer research and patient care, in care of the funeral home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA.
