Pamela A. Dumont, 64, of Great Barrington

In keeping with Pamela’s wishes, there are no calling hours, and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Pamela A. Dumont, 64, of Great Barrington, died unexpectedly at her home on January 17. She was born April 10, 1959, to the late Edward Dumont Sr. and Alice Ostrander Dumont. She was a 1977 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School.

Pam enjoyed playing bingo.

Pam is survived by her siblings, Edward Jr. (Joyce) of Great Barrington, Albert (Marlena) of Great Barrington, Sheryl (Kiley) of Becket, and Peter (Brenda) of Sheffield. She also leaves her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Raymond Dumont Sr.

In keeping with Pamela’s wishes, there are no calling hours, and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Pamela’s memory may be made to the Claire Teague Senior Center in care of the Birches-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA. Condolences may be made through the funeral home’s website.

Funeral services for Michael N. Huggins Sr. will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Saint Peter’s Church in Great Barrington with Reverend William P. Murphy, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Peter’s Cemetery.

She was always ahead of the times with her thinking—a true lover of life. Ruth was definitely one of a kind.
