Norman R. Pelletier Sr., 71, of Great Barrington

Norman worked as a furniture refinisher, ran Norm’s Bait and Tackle, and enjoyed doing fundraisers for children.

Norman R. Pelletier Sr., 71, of Great Barrington died Thursday, October 6, 2022 at his home. Norman was born in Holyoke, Mass. on January 17, 1951, son of the late Albert J. Sr. and Simone (Carrier) Pelletier. Norman worked as a furniture refinisher, ran Norm’s Bait and Tackle, and enjoyed doing fundraisers for children. Norman is survived by his son, Norman Pelletier Jr.; brothers, Albert Pelletier Jr. and Dennis Pelletier; and grandson, Cody.

A Celebration of Norman’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 30 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Sheffield American Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman’s memory can be made out to Birches-Roy Funeral Home at 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. Condolences may be made through the funeral home’s website.

Francis Thomas Duke Jr., 82, of Lenox

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.
