Norman Charbonneau, 87, of Devonshire Estates in Lenox, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Facility in Lenox.
Born on July 16, 1928, in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Helen Bousquet  and Ovila Charbonneau. Norman was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School and continued his education at Capitol Radio Engineering Institute in Washington, D.C., where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He was employed at General Electric as a sales engineer for more than 30 years.
Norman married Loretta Souliere on July15, 1950 at Holy Name Church in Springfield; she predeceased him in 2011 after 61 years of marriage. The couple had three children: Cathryn Graveline and her husband Paul, David Charbonneau and his wife Tammy and Gregg Charbonneau and his wife Cherisse, as well as eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service, celebrating the life of Norman Charbonneau, will be held at the Stockbridge Cemetery conducted by Deacon James McElroy. Memorial donations in memory of Norman may be made to either the Stockbridge Fire Company or the Riverbrook Residence through FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main Street, Gt.
