HomeLife In the BerkshiresNick Diller’s weather...

Nick Diller’s weather summary: November 2016: Wet (thank goodness) and warm

We ended up a little warmer and a lot wetter than average. I wonder if this is a trend.

Great Barrington — For the second straight month, Great Barrington, along with most other places in the Berkshires, recorded greater than average precipitation. Thanks to the two days of rain at the end of the month, our total amounted to just over five inches, which included nearly an inch of melted snow. The November average is 3.7 inches.

As far as temperatures are concerned, this November was slightly above average.

With an average high of 51 and a low of 31, with a mean of 41, we were slightly milder than average. The average mean is 39. So we ended up a little warmer and a lot wetter than average. I wonder if this is a trend. We shall see.

Have a wonderful December.
