News Brief: Town of Lee guidelines for voting in state primary

The last day to register to vote for the Tuesday, Sept. 1 primary is Saturday, Aug. 22, by 8 p.m.

Town of Lee releases state primary information

Lee — The state primary election Tuesday, Sept. 1, will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Crossway gymnasium, 21 Crossway St., for registered voters. COVID-19 precautions will be in place, including social distancing, facemasks and routine sanitizing of election equipment. In addition, there will be one entrance (south door near Crossway Street) and one exit (north door closest to the playground). Early voting will take place in the courtroom of Town Hall, 32 Main St., Saturday, Aug. 22, and Sunday, Aug. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Monday, Aug. 24, through Friday, Aug. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The last day to register to vote for the Tuesday, Sept. 1 primary is Saturday, Aug. 22, by 8 p.m. Town Hall will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. for voter registration at the main entrance.
