News Brief: Mass Pike overnight maintenance

The work is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 28, and will continue each night through Thursday, Oct. 31, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. and will require temporary closures of the high-speed lane.

MassDOT schedules overnight maintenance operations on I-90 eastbound

Blandford — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highway Division District 1 will conduct overnight maintenance operations on Interstate 90 eastbound from mile marker 28.5 to 29.5. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 28, and will continue each night through Thursday, Oct. 31, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. and will require temporary closures of the high-speed lane.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.

  • Visit mass511.com, a website which provides real-time traffic and incident advisory information and allows users to subscribe to text and email alerts for traffic conditions;
  • Follow MassDOT on Twitter to receive regular updates on road and traffic conditions; and
  • Download MassDOT’s GoTime mobile app and view real-time traffic conditions before setting out on the road.
