As far as we’re concerned, the appearance of Main Street is ghastly. The Smithsonian magazine’s cutest little town has lost its cuteness. Bah,, urban renewal!

my favorite spot are the spaces in front of Wheeler and Taylor with the large orange barrels and plastic warning tape. I guess they are going to spend another summer there so people don’t trip over the curbing and injure themselves. I hope they do the drainage better on the side streets then they did on Main Street. I love all the large puddles in front of the crosswalk entrances, Taconic Ave intersection and in front of the Town Hall after we have a heavy rainstorm because the road are not graded correctly.
