News Brief: Berkshire County District Attorney candidates to debate

Attorneys Paul J. Caccaviello, Andrea Harrington and Judith C. Knight will field questions by a panel of the Becket Town Democratic Committee.

Berkshire County District Attorney candidates to debate

Becket — The Becket Democratic Town Committee will present a debate with the candidates for Berkshire County District Attorney Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Becket Town Hall, 557 Main St.

Attorneys Paul J. Caccaviello, Andrea Harrington and Judith C. Knight will field questions by a panel of committee members. Sen. Adam G. Hinds, D-Pittsfield, will serve as moderator. Attendees will be able to ask questions of the candidates following the panel discussion. Each of the candidates is a registered Democrat and the winner of the Monday, Sept. 4, primary will likely be elected as there are no other announced candidates.

The debate will take place in Town Hall’s accessible, lower-level meeting room. Light refreshments will be served.
