News Brief: Berkshire County DA candidates to debate at BCC

The debate between incumbent Paul Caccaviello, and challengers Andrea Harrington and Judith Knight will be moderated by former Pittsfield Mayor Sara Hathaway.

Berkshire Community College to host Berkshire County DA candidates’ debate

Pittsfield — Pittsfield Community Television and the Pittsfield Gazette will present a Berkshire County District Attorney Democratic primary debate Monday, Aug. 20, at 7 p.m. in the K-111 theater of the Koussevitzky Arts Center at Berkshire Community College.

The debate among incumbent Paul Caccaviello, Andrea Harrington and Judith Knight will be moderated by former Pittsfield Mayor Sara Hathaway. The candidate who wins the Tuesday, Sept. 4, Democratic primary for Berkshire County District Attorney will be the only candidate on the November ballot.

The event is free and open to the public. Those unable to attend may watch the debate live on PCTV’s Citylink Channel 1303 in Pittsfield, Dalton and Richmond; or on demand at www.pittsfieldtv.org.
