Nathan Maynard Sedgwick, 66, of North Adams

Nathan attended Lenox High School and was a 1974 graduate. After high school Nathan worked as a fuel attendant for Diesel Dan’s, later F.L. Roberts.

Nathan Maynard Sedgwick, 66, of North Adams, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born on August 7, 1955 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, to the late Gilbert and Priscilla Maynard Sedgwick. He attended Lenox High School and was a 1974 graduate. After high school Nathan worked as a fuel attendant for Diesel Dan’s, later F.L. Roberts.

Mr. Sedgwick enjoyed going to car shows and tractor pulls. He liked working on lawn mowers, cars, and anything with a motor. His favorite was snowmobiling and he loved the snow. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson and showing him how to fix things. His favorite thing to watch was NASCAR and old Westerns.

Nathan is survived by his daughter, Nancy M. Klose of Hinsdale; his grandson, Adam Klose; and his brother, Charles Sedgwick (Amy) of Tennessee.

There will be a memorial service held on June 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main St. in Lenox. A calling hour will precede the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nathan’s memory may be made to American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
