N.Y. Rep. Faso deceived constituents in supporting TrumpCare

In his letter to the editor, Bobby Houston writes: "Faso, Paul Ryan and Trump are targeting women, the sick and the elderly in particular."

To the Editor:

I just got a pack of lies from U.S. Rep. John Faso (R-NY 19) posing as a letter. The truth is, he has supported TrumpCare from day one — except when he’s talking smooth about improving ObamaCare – which he just repealed. In his first 100 days, Faso has ducked his public, holding zero town hall meetings, while moving far to the right — joining ultra-conservative Republicans in their quest to strip millions of Americans from their health coverage.

Faso, Paul Ryan and Trump are targeting women, the sick and the elderly in particular. Oh, and were we not supposed to notice —  TrumpCare means a big tax cut for the rich.

TrumpCare is a vicious, cynical bill and Faso is a vicious, cynical and duplicitous politician — just the worst.  His constituents need our help — just a few miles away.   Please join the Green Tea Party in our commitment to swing NY19 out of the red. Let’s make sure “No-Show Faso” gets to stay home in Kinderhook, starting 2018.

Although Lou’s Section 9 chair will be occupied by others in coming seasons, for us who loved him, we will always remember it as the seat of the “Mayor of Tanglewood.”
