Mildred L. Rockefeller, 86, of Great Barrington

Mildred was a devoted Staples employee, where she worked as a cashier, and held multiple Employee of the Month Awards.

Mildred L. Rockefeller 86, of 909 Main St. in Great Barrington, Mass., died Wednesday April 27, 2016, at Fairview Hospital. She was born in Great Barrington, on December 17, 1929, daughter of one of four children of Edward J. and Florence E. Wycle Rockefeller.

Mildred was a 1948 graduate of the former Searles High School. She worked in the insurance industry for many years as a representative. She was also a devoted Staples employee, where she worked as a cashier, and held multiple Employee of the Month Awards. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Ashley Falls, Mass.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Nancy M. Crawford, of Mill River, grandson Corey H. Crawford and his wife Kristin of Pittsfield, great grandsons, Anthony Jimenez, and Thomas Paul Crawford, of Pittsfield, and a great granddaughter Mollie E. Crawford, of Pittsfield as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward H., and Donald F. Rockefeller, and a sister Janice E. Kilcullen

Funeral services for Mildred L. Rockefeller, who died April 27, will be held on Monday May 2, at 11 a.m. at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME with the Reverend Kenneth Phesay officiating, burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends at a calling hour preceding the funeral service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Mildred’s name may be made to the SBVAS in care of the funeral home at 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA. 01230 Condolences may be made through birchesroyfuneralservices.com.
