Meet the candidate: Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, running for Congress

The Town of Sheffield Democratic Committee does not endorse candidates in a contested primary.

Sheffield – At the invitation of the Sheffield Democratic Town Committee Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, a candidate for the congressional seat now held by Richie Neal, attended a “meet the candidate” forum on July 23.
The event was held at the Bushnell-Sage Library with an audience of more than 60 people filling the room.

Please note that the Town of Sheffield Democratic Committee does not endorse candidates in a contested primary. Both candidates were invited to speak on different dates. Tahirah agreed to come to Sheffield, but after much back and forth, Mr. Neal did not.
