BLANDFORD, LEE, OTIS, BECKET — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that crews will be conducting bridge, guardrail repair, and pavement marking operations at specific locations on Interstate 90, eastbound and westbound, in Blandford, Lee, Otis, and Becket. The work is scheduled to begin in some locations on Monday, June 7, and will conclude on Friday, June 11. The work will require intermittent lane closures.
At all times, travel will be maintained on I-90 through the work zones. The locations and schedules for lane closures for the work are as follows.
Blandford
Pavement marking operations will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 30 on Monday, June 7, from 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
Lee
Bridge repair operations will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 10 on Tuesday, June 8, from 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
Becket
Bridge repair operations will be conducted on I-90, eastbound and westbound, at mile marker 15.9 on Thursday, June 10 and Friday, June 11, from 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
Otis and Becket
Guardrail repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90, eastbound and westbound, from mile marker 19 to mile marker 22 on Monday, June 7–Thursday, June 10, from 7 p.m.–5 a.m.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
