OTIS/LEE/BECKET: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting daytime and overnight guardrail repair operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Otis, Lee and Becket. The work will be conducted at various times and locations, from Monday, May 9, through Friday, May 13. All work is scheduled to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13.
The work will require temporary lane closures to allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct guardrail repair operations.
Otis:
- Guardrail repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 22.4 on Monday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lee:
- Guardrail repair operations will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 13.0 to mile marker 11.0, on Monday, May 9, and on Tuesday, May 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
Lee and Becket
- Guardrail repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 8.0 to mile marker 18.0 on Monday, May 9, Tuesday, May 10, Wednesday, May 11, and Thursday, May 12, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
