Montgomery, Russell, Blandford, and Otis – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be conducting daytime pavement repairs and nighttime guardrail repair work on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Montgomery, Russell, Blandford, and Otis. The scheduled work will require temporary lane closures, and is scheduled to take place as follows:
Montgomery and Russell
Pavement repair operations will be conducted daily on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 36.0 from Monday, March 27, to Thursday, March 30, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Blandford
Guardrail repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 27.8, from 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, through 4 a.m. on Monday, March 27.
Otis
Guardrail repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 21.8 to mile marker 23.2 from 8 p.m. on Monday, March 27, through 4 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28.
The work will require temporary lane closures to allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct pavement and guardrail repair operations. Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
