Mary Flynn, 85, of Lenox

Above all else, Mary loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister-in-law and friend to many.

Mary Josephine “MarMar” Flynn, 85, of Lenox passed away on July 6, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, John R. “Bud” Flynn, in 2006.

Mary is survived by her three children: Kathleen Carter (James) of Bryan, Texas; John “JR” Flynn and Patricia Flynn Quinn (Edward) of Lenox; three beloved grandchildren: Jonathan Carter, Melissa Jefferson (Brett) of Texas and Stephen Quinn of Lenox; and her great-granddaughter Makenzie Jefferson. Mary is also survived by her sister- and brother-in-law Carol and Frank Consolati, as well as five nephews.

Mary had a smile that would light up a room, a quick wit and a heart of gold. Above all else, she loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister-in-law and friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Mary Flynn will be held Wednesday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church in Lenox with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated by Monsignor John Bonzagni. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery. As per the wishes of the family, there will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, family and friends wishing to make a memorial donation to the Lenox Fire, ambulance, police or charity of their choice can do so in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. To leave a message of condolence or share pictures, visit www.kellyfuneralhome.net.

The funeral for Mr. Francis T. Duke will be held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church in Lenox, with Rev. Michael Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Corashire Cemetery in Monterey. There will be no calling hours.

There will be a service held on Wednesday, May 14, beginning at 11 a.m., at the Roche Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 13, from 4 to 7 p.m.
