Mark R. Peebles, 65, of Lee

Born October 4, 1959 in Westfield, MA he was the son of the late Robert Peebles and Beverly Mange. He was educated in local schools in Lee, MA.

Mark worked for over 30 years at various paper mills within the community and finished his career as an Industrial Wire Technician before his retirement on December 2024.

He was an avid Patriot’s fan. However, one thing that topped his love for the Patriot’s was his love for his family.

Mark is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia McGuirt Peebles. The couple was married November 22, 1990. He is also survived by his son, Christopher Peebles and his wife, Alyssa; his daughter, Dawn Kollmer and her husband Matthew; his daughter, Stacey Blurton and her husband Jeremi; his seven cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Colton and Lily Peebles, Caleb, Maya and Aaron Kollmer, Xavier and Xander Blurton, and his great-grandson Sylas Blurton.  He also leaves behind his brothers Raymond Peebles and his wife Joyce, Michael Howard and his wife Denise, and his sister Debra Soules, his brother-in-law Samuel Tarnauskas, and his numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Tarnauskas.

There will be a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Thomas F. ‘Walt’ Palivoda, 72, of Housatonic

Walt’s family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a funeral service officiated by Deacon Ed Shaw at Birches-Roy Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Wyantenuck Country Club. Private burial will be at a later date.

Nancy Elma Demarest Dellert, 89, formerly of Ashley Falls

As requested, a private burial service for close family will be held at Ashley Falls Cemetery at a later date.
