Marie Eleanor Iannuzzelli, 85, of Alford died Sunday June 6, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Marie was born in Brooklyn New York on December 4, 1935, the daughter of John and Jeanette (Reynart) Yeomans. For many years she worked as a Human Resource Manager at the former Rising Paper Mill. She was also co-owner of DeeMarie shoe store.

Marie was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church in Great Barrington, where she was on the Parish Council and a Eucharistic Minister. She also served as a communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Faustina in Florida.
She was a member of the Alford Garden Club, the Great Barrington Rotary, the Thursday Morning Club, and the Fairview Hospital Auxiliary. She served as president of the Staten Island Women’s Auxiliary Post #248, and was a board member of the Great Barrington Chamber of Commerce and the United Way.
Marie spent winters at Outdoor Resorts at Orlando in Clermont Florida, where she enjoyed swimming aerobics, cooking, hosting parties, going to the casino, and attending plays. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, especially her girls.
Marie’s husband Frank A. Iannuzzelli, whom she married on April 13, 1968, predeceased her on June 20, 2004. Marie is survived by her companion, Albert Butterworth; daughter Denise LeBeau (Bob) of Alford with whom she lived during the summertime, step-daughter June Ritchie of New Jersey; two granddaughters, twins Courtney MacDonald (Corey) of Dalton and Sheena Vranas (Adam) of Dalton; four step-grandchildren, Christine Falcone, Andrea Hillman, R.J. LeBeau, and Brandon LeBeau; great-granddaughter Zelie Marie MacDonald; and several other step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Frank A. Iannuzzelli, Marie was predeceased by her brother John Yeomans and sister Florence Law.
Funeral services for Marie Eleanor Iannuzzelli will be held Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Peter’s Church with Reverend William P. Murphy Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Alford Center Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 10 from 4–7 p.m. at the Birches–Roy Funeral Home, 33 South Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Marie’s memory may be made to the Zelie Marie MacDonald Education Fund at The Pittsfield Cooperative Bank, P.O. Box 291, Dalton, MA 01226.
