Margaret R. Mansfield, 85, of Great Barrington, passed away on September 20, 2024. Margaret was born on February 16, 1939, in Pittsfield, to parents Cornelius and Minnie Golden.
Margaret worked for a time at The Berkshire Eagle and was a dedicated housekeeper. She also found much peace as a devout Jehovah’s Witness.
Margaret is survived by her son James and his spouse Noel Mansfield of New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Sonya Gammon and Brandon Mansfield of New Hampshire and Arizona, respectively; her great-grandchildren, Ozzie, Ophelia, Riley, Blake, and Reese; her great-grand dogs, Apollo and Echo; and her two sisters, Shirley Mae and Sally.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
