Main Street construction update, Tuesday, Sept. 8 – Friday, Sept. 11

NO NIGHT PARKING Wednesday, September 9, from 6pm to 7am on Main Street from Elm Street to St. James/ Taconic Ave.

middle leftGreat Barrington — Maxymillian will continue work Tuesday, September 8, at 6:00am. They will be setting curbing and continuing sidewalk work on the west & east side of Main Street, on the north side of the project. All businesses will have clear access during work hours.

top rightLane Construction will be paving selected areas in preparation for the finish paving in late October. NO NIGHT PARKING Wednesday, September 9, from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Main Street from Elm Street to St. James/ Taconic Ave.

Lapinski will continue with electrical conduit work on east side of Main Street on the north end of the project at the Cottage Street intersection.

lower leftTwo-way traffic and access to businesses will be maintained at all times.  Police officers will be present at all locations to direct traffic and ensure traffic flows smoothly in all directions.

lower rightWork hours are between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. With the exception of the completion of daily tasks and additional clean up of work areas, road conditions will return to normal after 2:30 p.m. each day.
