Maggie Lynn Coughlin, 35, of Pittsfield           

Maggie loved kids, especially her nieces and nephew. Most of all she loved spending time with her son, Quinten.

Maggie Lynn Coughlin, 35 of Pittsfield died Friday March 25, 2016 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. Maggie was born in Pittsfield on August 15, 1980 daughter to Francis Coughlin IV and Margaret (Kearney) Coughlin.

She was a 1998 graduate from Wahconah Regional High School and attended Berkshire Community College. Maggie worked as a receptionist for Aerus-Electorlux in Pittsfield.

Maggie loved kids, especially her nieces and nephew. She loved cooking, reading and family trips to the beach. Most of all she loved spending time with her son, Quinten.

Maggie is survived by her mother, Margaret Coughlin, her father, Francis Coughlin IV and her stepmother Marisa Coughlin, her partner Matt Reagan, her son, Quinten Coughlin-Walton; five brothers: Joseph Coughlin and fiancé Jennifer, Charles Coughlin and fiancé Jeff Minkler, Francis Coughlin V and wife Rachel, Brian Coughlin and wife Emily and Christopher Coughlin and fiancé Anna Kubes; one sister, Bridget Coughlin and fiancé Dan Desrosiers; paternal grandfather Francis Coughlin III and wife Diana and paternal grandmother Marie Kennedy and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Maggie was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Michael and Margaret (McCabe) Kearney.

Funeral services for Maggie Lynn Coughlin will be held on Thursday March 31 at noon at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Lee. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Maggie’s memory may be made to the Quinten Coughlin-Walton Scholarship Fund at Greylock Federal Credit Union or in care of BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South Street Great Barrington MA 01230. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann Church with Monsignor John Bonzagni officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pittsfield.
