Lynn B. Herzig, 75, of Pittsfield, died peacefully at her home on June 9, 2025. She was born in Pittsfield on August 2, 1949, to the late Ernest and Edna Beacco. She attended Monument Mountain High School and was a 1967 graduate.
After high school, Lynn attended St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She worked for Hillcrest Hospital and area nursing homes.
Lynn enjoyed being with friends and family, watching football, and going to the beach. She was always filled with laughter and joy and was a member of the Christian Assembly; she was extremely fond of her fellow church members.
Lynn is survived by her sons, Timothy and Ernest Herzig of Fredericksburg, Va.; her grandchildren, Michael and Wyatt; her former husband Allan T. Herzig; and many friends.
A memorial service for Lynn will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m., at the Christian Assembly, 850 Williams Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. There will be no calling hours, and burial will be private. Memorial donations in Lynn’s memory may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
