Louis Pasquarelli, 91, of Pittsfield

He loved working outdoors and taking care of his home and working in his workshop. He was a man of all trades.

Louis Pasquarelli, 91, of Pittsfield, died Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Laurel Lake Center in Lee. He was born on Aug. 4, 1926, in Pittsfield, the son of the late Luigi Pasquarelli and Anna Pasquarelli Marino. Louis was educated in Pittsfield schools. He and his wife, the former Doris Talbot, were married in Canaan, N,Y., on June 9, 1951, and together raised their family of four children. They were married for 66 years. Louis served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then worked for Joseph Francese for 33 years. He loved working outdoors and taking care of his home and working in his workshop. He was a man of all trades. He loved being with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his three daughters Doris Dowling of Lanesborough, Rose Markham and husband Fran of Dalton, and Cherie Pasquarelli of Pittsfield; and son Michael Pasquarelli of Lanesborough. He also leaves six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Helen Liles of Tallahassee, Fla.; and brother Samuel Pasquarelli, also of Tallahassee. Louis was predeceased by four sisters, one brother and one son-in-law.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Aug. 30, from noon until 1:45 p.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.
