Lorraine B. Thomson, 83, of Housatonic

She moved to Lee as a child and graduated from Lee High School in the class of 1950.

Lorraine B. Thomson, 83, of Housatonic, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. Lorraine was born in Jersey City, N.J., on May 25, 1933, daughter of Raymond and Margaret (Werner) Baggott. She moved to Lee as a child and graduated from Lee High School in the class of 1950.

Lorraine married Charles A. Thomson Sr. in Richmond on June 29, 1957 and afterwards moved to Housatonic. She is predeceased by her husband Charles, grandson Bryan and sister Eleanor.

Lorraine is survived by two sons, William C. Thomson and wife Melody of Davenport, Fla., and Charles A. Thomson Jr. and wife Kathy of Great Barrington; one daughter, Sharon L. Flanagan and husband Gary of Pittsfield; and three grandsons, Jamie Thomson and Katie, Brad Thomson, and Jason Gaspardi and his partner Margo; five great grandchildren, Nicholas Thomson, Matthew Thomson, Giavonnah Gaspardi, Giovanni Gaspardi, and Angelo Gaspardi.

A graveside service for Lorraine Thomson will be held on Monday March 20th at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery in Housatonic. Condolences may be made through birchesroyfuneralservices.com.
