Lisa M. Simonetta, 59, of Lenox

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Roche Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Lisa M. Simonetta, 59, of Lenox died Sunday, August 6 at Hillcrest Commons after a brief illness. She was born on August 27, 1963 in Waterbury, Conn. to the late Edwin and Emmy Krasnowski. She was educated in local schools.

Lisa enjoyed taking day trips to explore local towns and cities. She loved animals and helping others out. She worked at BD Corp. in Caanan, Conn. for many years and later at the Candlelight Inn and Restaurant in Lenox.

Mrs. Simonetta married Joseph A. Simonetta in Lenox on May 17, 1997; he predeceased her on June 19, 2017. Lisa is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hopkins and husband Michael of Jarrettsville, Md., and her grandson, Jacob Hopkins. Besides her husband and parents, Lisa is predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Stoeger and Celia Melendez.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
