Kirsten Lucille Zigmand, born January 14, 1998 in Pittsfield to James Zigmand and Karen Camp Zigmand, passed away due to complications from Type 1 Diabetes.

As an exceptionally bright student, she completed her high school requirements early in 2014. She particularly enjoyed science, which subsequently lead her to love gardening and being outdoors. Skiing was one of her favorite pastimes, and Killington was at the top of her list of favorite mountains. Sunshine and hanging by her pool with friends were some of her favorite ways to spend the day, and everyone loved her mischievous sense of humor. She loved to cook, enjoying various culinary delights and exploring with foods that would satisfy her palate.
Aside from her parents, she is survived by her sister, Kayla Grace Zigmand and fiancé John P. Scolforo III. She also leaves her half-sister, Honor Zigmand; her paternal grandmother, Frances Lockman Zigmand; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved dogs, L. Jay and Lucy Lui.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Donald Zigmand; her maternal grandmother, Lucille Camp (Fontaine); and her maternal grandfather, William Camp.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Finnerty and Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230.
