Kenneth R. Tinker, 56, of Main St., Great Barrington passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass.
Born June 21, 1959 in Great Barrington he was the son of William and Elizabeth Leffingwell Tinker. He graduated from Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, Conn.
Ken worked doing home construction specializing in taping dry wall. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a member of the Sheffield Chapel.
Ken is survived by his longtime companion Dawn M. Stevens and their son Timothy Stevens of Great Barrington. He also leaves his brothers William Tinker of Columbus, Ohio, and Richard Tinker and wife Norene of New Marlborough, Mass., his sister Cindi Labshere and husband Layne of New Marlborough, and his beloved cat Junior.
A service celebrating Ken’s life will be held on Friday, July 17 at 1 p.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington, conducted by Rev. Corey J. McLaughlin, Pastor Sheffield Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
