Ken Diorio, 63, of Pittsfield

Ken was known for his artistic style and his unique ability to create different types of collages of American history; he would often donate his work to Pittsfield City Hall, and the Pittsfield police and fire departments.

Kenneth Orlando Diorio, 63, of Pittsfield died Wednesday, Nov. 28, at his home.

Born Feb. 10, 1955, in Pittsfield to the late Orlando and Phyllis Rochelo Diorio, Ken attended local schools and was a 1973 graduate of Taconic High School. After high school, Ken entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1978. Ken worked in construction as a truck driver. He was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church in Pittsfield. Ken was known for his artistic style and his unique ability to create different types of collages of American history; he would often donate his work to Pittsfield City Hall, and the Pittsfield police and fire departments.

Ken is survived by his siblings Ronald G. Diorio of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Cathy Smith of Littleton, Colorado, and Sarah Diorio of Pittsfield as well as his nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his sisters Danielle Diorio and June Zadanis, and his brother Steven Diorio,

Calling hours will be held Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240. Per Ken’s wishes, a private service and burial will be held at a later date. To share memories and stories, visit rochefuneralhome.com.
