Keep it up, State Rep. Davis!

It is great to see her building upon Smitty Pignatelli’s excellent work in improving emergency medical/ambulance services, and vital for the Berkshires with its aging population.

To the editor:

I would like to commend State Rep. Leigh Davis for her efforts as our new 3rd Berkshire District state representative. Right out of the gate, Leigh has filed a flurry of bills. Notably, these include five initiatives to improve emergency medical/ambulance services. It is great to see her building upon Smitty Pignatelli’s excellent work in this regard, and vital for the Berkshires with its aging population.

I read in the coverage that some suggested to her that she not file legislation in her freshman term. I am so glad she ignored that advice and got right to work to solve the challenges facing the Southern Berkshires and the rest of Massachusetts.

Nice job, Leigh. Keep it up!

In these troubled times, it was refreshing to bask awhile in this generous sharing of time, talent, and good will.

An empty chair by Section 9 at Tanglewood

Although Lou’s Section 9 chair will be occupied by others in coming seasons, for us who loved him, we will always remember it as the seat of the “Mayor of Tanglewood.”
