Keep guns out of the hands of the unstable

In her letter to the editor Cathy Kogan writes: “Let us come together to honor all victims of gun violence in our country and their loved ones, and say ENOUGH!”

To the Editor:

Please join Indivisible Pittsfield and local student activists this Saturday, March 24th at 12 noon at Park Square for our local March for Our Lives Solidarity Rally. We will rally at Park Square at noon and walk to and from Pittsfield High School. Let us come together to honor all victims of gun violence in our country and their loved ones, and say ENOUGH!
Also, whether or not you are able to rally with us, please consider calling the State Senate (617-722-1280) or House (617-722-2396) and ask them to pass the pending bill before the Joint Committee on the Judiciary: The Extreme Risk Protective Order H. 3081. This bill will allow family members, police officers, or licensed health/mental health practitioners to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms from individuals identified as extreme risks, and prohibit such individuals from purchasing and/or possessing firearms and ammunition for one year.

A reflection on No Kings Day

I don't know what kind of drugs the Trump administration and Fox News thinks Americans are on, but their response to No Kings Day defies belief—even by MAGA standards.
