Katherine D. Zink, 48, of Canaan, Conn., graduate of Mt. Everett

Katherine worked for many years at Berkshire Bark as a chocolate maker, a job she loved. Prior to that, she worked at St. Mary’s school in Lee, Mass., along with her mother.

Katherine D. Zink, 48, passed away suddenly on November 22, 2015 at Fairview Hospital.

Born on January 14, 1967 in Massapequa, N.Y., she was the daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Campbell Behne.

Katherine was a graduate of Mt. Everett Regional High School in Sheffield, class of 1985. She worked for many years at Berkshire Bark as a chocolate maker, a job she loved. Prior to that, she worked at St. Mary’s school in Lee, Mass., along with her mother, where she loved all the children and they loved her!

Katherine married Steven Zink on May 10, 1990 and they lived in Canaan, Conn., where they raised their son Steven, Jr. She loved her family and cooking for them.

Besides her husband and son, Katherine is survived by her parents, her sister Denise Andrus and her husband Richard; her twin brother Christian III; her three nephews: Hunter, Evan and Christian IV; and her three nieces: Cassandra, Lauren and Kezea.

She was predeceased by her nephew Cory Vincent.

Calling hours for the late Katherine Zink will be Friday, December 4, 2015 from 5 – 7 p.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Ann Church in Lenox, with Fr. CJ Waitekus officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. There will be calling hours from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in the church.

Nicholas Navarino, 90, of Waretown, N.J., formerly of Great Barrington

Navarino was a resident of Gt. Barrington for 16 years between 2004 and 2020.
