Karen A. Beckwith, 77, of Great Barrington

A graveside service will take place at St. Bridget's Cemetery in Housatonic on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 12 p.m.

Karen A. Beckwith, 77, of Great Barrington, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Fairview Commons Nursing Home in Great Barrington. Karen was born on May 6, 1947, to the late John and Mary Griffin. Karen graduated from Searles High School in 1965. She attended Berkshire Community College, where she received her LPN degree in nursing.

Karen was employed as an LPN at various nursing homes including Fairview Commons. After retirement, Karen worked at Price Chopper and Marshalls.

Karen was preceded in death by her son Paul J. Hazzard and her brother Peter Griffin. Karen is survived by six siblings, Tim Griffin of Texas, Susan Santora, Patricia Griffin, Mary Beth Shea, Ellen (Jeff) Rice, and Kate Griffin (Roger Harding); a niece; and several nephews.

A graveside service will take place at St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Housatonic on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 12 p.m. Condolences may be made through the website of Birches-Roy Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
