Judith Ann Julieano, 72, of 21 Crossway St., Lee, died at Berkshire Medical Center on October 19, after courageously battling cancer. Lifelong resident of Lee, Judy was the daughter of Kenneth and Grace Armstrong Sour. Judith married Ralph Julieano in Lee on June 8, 1967. Judy was a dedicated certified nursing assistant for more than thirty years, retiring from Cameron House Assisted Living of Lenox in 2014 due to ill health. She was previously employed by Berkshire Hills North, later Laurel Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation as well as many private clients.
Judy was a very kind, friendly and generous person. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her many interests included cooking and baking, gardening, reading, bingo, puzzles, casino trips, the Boston Red Sox and most of all, spending quality time with her granddaughters.
In addition to her husband, Judith leaves her son Ralph of Pittsfield; daughter Judith V. Heath and her companion Lee Soules of Lenox; beloved granddaughters Kristen Heath, Grace Julieano and Evelyn Julieano; former son-in-law Robert Heath, former daughter-in-law Amy Bonn, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Judith was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Kenneth, William, Doris, Helen, Hilda (Brunell) and Carol.
Funeral services for Judith Ann Julieano will be held on November 6th, 2015 at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington Mass., at 12 p.m. with Pastor Jim Guenther officiating. Family will receive friends preceding the funeral on November 6 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery in Lee.
