Judi (JJ) Johnson Alfasa, 63, formerly of Great Barrington

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, JJ worked for many years in sales in the fashion industry.

Judi (JJ) Johnson Alfasa, 63, of Boca Raton, Fla., died suddenly January 16, 2021.

JJ grew up in Great Barrington and was born on June, 18, 1957 daughter of Harold and Alice (Novicki) Johnson. She was a graduate of the Monument Mountain Regional High School class of 1975 and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

She worked for many years in sales in the fashion industry. JJ was married to Jay Alfasa for 36 years. JJ was a true light in this crazy world and made a difference in the lives of all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her twin brother Jeffrey and his wife Betsy of Great Barrington, brother James (Nina) of South Hampton, Mass., and her loving nieces and nephews James and Jillian Johnson and Ryan and Michaela McManus. JJ was predeceased by sisters Deborah and Barbara, and parents Harold and Alice.

A private service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made through Birches Roy Funeral Services.

Funeral Mass for Robert F. "Bob" Keefner will be held on Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Saint Peter’s Church in Great Barrington with Reverend William P. Murphy Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

A funeral service for Roberta 'Bobbie' Nussbaum will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Barbara Cohen. Burial will follow at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
